适用范围

本标准适用于核事故应急期间测量X、γ和β辐射产生的高剂量或高剂量率的便携式仪器。对X、γ辐射是指自由空气中的空气吸收剂量与剂量率,对β辐射测量是指人体组织深度为7mg/cm2处的组织吸收剂量与剂量率。若采用周围剂量当量(剂量当量率)、定向剂量当量(剂量当量率)或空气比释动能(空气比释动能率)为被测的量,本标准仍适用,但需将约定真值的辐射量由吸收剂量(剂量率)改变为相应的辐射量。本标准适用于对场外实施应急监测的仪器。这种仪器亦可用于应急期间场内的测量。

【摘要】:1.1Thisisaguidetodevelopingfirehazardassessmentsforupholsteredseatingfurniture,withinpatientroomsofhealthcareoccupancies.Assuch,itprovidesmethodsandcontemporaryfiresafetyengineeringtechniquestodevelopafirehazardassessmentforuseinspecificationsforupholsteredseatingfurnitureinsuchoccupancies.1.2Hazardassessmentisanestimationofthepotentialseverityofthefiresthatcandevelopwithcertainproductsindefinedscenarios,oncetheincidentshaveoccurred.Hazardassessmentdoesnotaddressthelikelihoodofafireoccurring,butisbasedonthepremisethatanignitionhasoccurred.1.3Becauseitisaguide,thisdocumentcannotbeusedforregulation,nordoesitgivedefinitiveinstructionsonhowtoconductafirehazardassessment.1.4Thisguideisintendedtoprovideassistancetothoseinterestedinmitigatingthepotentialdamagefromfiresassociatedwithupholsteredfurnitureinpatientroomsinhealthcareoccupancies.1.5Thus,thisguidecanbeusedtohelpassessthefirehazardofmaterials,assemblies,orsystemsintendedforuseinupholsteredfurniture,byprovidingastandardbasisforstudyingtheleveloffiresafetyassociatedwithcertaindesignchoices.Itcanalsoaidthoseinterestedindesigningfeaturesappropriatetohealthcareoccupancies.Finally,itmaybeusefultosafetypersonnelinhealthcareoccupancies.1.6ThisguideisafocusedapplicationofGuideE1546,whichoffershelpinreferencetofirescenariosthatarespecifictoupholsteredfurnitureinhealthcareoccupancies,andincludesanextensivebibliography.ItdiffersfromGuideE1546inthatitoffersguidancethatisspecifictotheissueofupholsteredfurnitureinpatientroomsofhealthcarefacilities,ratherthangeneralguidance.includessomestatisticsonthemagnitudeofthepotentialproblemintheU.S.1.7Afirehazardassessmentconductedinaccordancewiththisguideisstronglydependentonthelimitationsinthefactorsdescribedin.1.7.1Inputdata(includingtheirprecisionoraccuracy).1.7.2Appropriatetestprocedures.1.7.3Firemodelsorcalculationproceduresthataresimultaneouslyrelevant,accurateandappropriate.1.7.4Advancementofscientificknowledge.1.8Thisguideaddressesspecificfirescenarioswhichbegininsideoroutsideofthepatientroom.However,theupholsteredfurnitureunderconsiderationisinsidethepatientroom.1.9Thefirescenariosusedforthishazardassessmentguidearedescribedin.Theyinvolvetheupholsteredfurnitureitemwithinthepatientroomasthefirstorseconditemignited,intermsoftheroomoffireorigin.Additionally,considerationshouldbegiventotheeffectofthepatientroomupholsteredfurnitureitemonthetenabilityofoccupantsofroomsotherthantheroomoffireorigin,andonthatofpotentialrescuers.1.10Thisguidedoesnotclaimtoaddressallfiresthatcanoccurinpatientroomsinhealthcareoccupancies.Inparticular,fireswithmoresevereinitiatingconditionsthanthoseassumedintheanalysismayposemoreseverefirehazardthanthatcalculatedusingthisguide(seealso).Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.11Thisfirestandardcannotbeusedtoprovidequantitativemeasures.
